EddieGotSole I can’t believe it’s coming up on 20 years since this album was first released. This was one of my most played albums since then, and it still sounds fresh years later. This record is such a time capsule of a project as it’s the only Foreign Exchange album with a heavier Hip Hop influence and rapping throughout. Yet the album is a soulful & eclectic departure from Little Brother albums. I truly hope this album is celebrated in some way for 2024 (20th Anniversary!) Favorite track: Sincere.

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
